Terry has been working as a barber for more than 3 decades. She worked in Lexington under Frank Connell at Connell’s Barber Shop for 18 years. Frank was a proud United States Army veteran with honorable service in Korea during the Korean War. After his military service, Frank came back to South Carolina and became a barber for more than 40 years. Frank was an old school barber through and through and Terry’s Barber Shop is largely inspired and influenced by him.

After Frank retired Terry opened her own barber shop in 2010 and Terry’s Barber Shop was born. Terry’s Barber Shop is a throwback to an old school traditional style of barbering that has nearly died out, with a bit of a modern touch to give customers an incredible experience.
Terry’s Barber Shop is upscale, but not pretentious. Terry’s is where the common man comes to kick back, relax and have a good time while getting an exceptional haircut.
